Ella and the Kaitiaki

Last week we went up to the West Melton Hall to see a show called Ella and the Kaitiaki.

Ella’s Dad wanted her to dump their rubbish under a beautiful tree every day. The kaitiaki, guardians who look after the tree, didn’t like that idea because the rubbish might kill the tree and the worms. The kiwi needed worms to eat and if the rubbish was dumped under the tree there would be no worms, and then the kiwi might die too.

Ella thought about the problem and she decided to recycle and compost the rubbish instead.

We loved the show. The singing was great.

Hello LC 6 It is fantastic to see that you are learning to use a blog. I know that at the moment your teacher has to do a lot of the work for you but I am wondering if sometime you could type in a little message and let me know how you all are. Maybe a mum or dad could help and show you all how to use the key board and leave a message or an article. Wow. That would be exciting. I love coming into your class as I get to see all of the learning that you do. Go Mrs McHarg.
